About Peng LinanI have developed a strong enthusiasm for international affairs since childhood. As a result, I chose to study international political economy at the Renmin University of China. In 2013, I won a valuable exchange opportunity to study at the University of St. Andrews. I have mastered theories related to international politics, and applied these in my dissertation which analyzed how NATO managed the Ukrainian crisis. I also interned at the China Institute of International Studies as a research assistant and completed a research project on ISIL. I participated in some social projects. One was the National University Students Innovation Program for a research paper entitled “Analysis on Labor Union’s Role in Labor-capital Relations of the Private Enterprises”. I won the third prize in the Innovation Cup Competition of RUC for a research paper entitled “Modernization Transformation about Chinese People’s Mediation System”; besides, I also won the prize for Outstanding Team Leader of a social practice project on “A Thousand Students in Hundreds of Villages”. As for hobbies, I am interested in painting, travelling and listening to music. I love animals and volunteer work.
