On Thursday, Dec 18th, our cohort met with Hannah Eagleton, economic officer in the U.S Embassy in Beijing, for a lively exchange about her experiences as a diplomat. We discussed her personal story, perspectives on life as a foreign service officer, and current topics in US-China relations. We are very grateful for the opportunity to gain a practical overview of the State Department’s work, and wish her success in her future career.
