About Yera

A native of South Korea and China, Yera Park is keen on economic development and cooperation in Northeast Asia.  
 
Yera worked at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank Group in Washington, D.C., where she focused on communications and legal knowledge management for investing in emerging markets.  She was also a core member in building and managing the IFC Women’s Network.  Previously, Yera interned at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Beijing, where she focused on regional cooperation in Northeast Asia by engaging stakeholders in local governments, industry leaders and the media.  In addition to her international development experience, Yera worked as an Associate at The Advisory Board Company, a healthcare consulting and research firm based in Washington, D.C..
 
Yera served as a Board Member and the Communications Director of the Sejong Society of Washington, D.C., a non-profit organization dedicated to inspire the next generation of Northeast Asia specialists.  Yera is fluent in Korean, English and proficient in Chinese.  In her spare time, she enjoys running, hiking and cooking different ethnic foods.
