About Patrick ChoPatrick Cho recently served from 2013-2015 as a Fulbright Scholar in Gwangju and Seoul, South Korea. During his grant, Patrick coordinated the Fulbright volunteer program at the Gwangju Hana Center for North Korean defectors and led volunteers in Korea Bridge Initiative, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational and cultural exchange opportunities for underprivileged Korean students. He is also a founder of the Fulbright Korea Alumni Association. Prior to Fulbright, Patrick graduated magna cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, with a degree in government, from Centre College, where he served as student body president. He has also been published in We Get It: Voices of Grieving College Students and Young Adults, as a contributing author. Patrick’s research interests include North Korean human rights, security in Northeast Asia, and Chinese foreign policy. After graduation, he hopes to work as a Foreign Service Officer in Public Diplomacy for the Department of State.
