       As part of the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center’s Technology Competition & Global Governance Forum, Tsinghua-SAIS Dual Degree fellows will present their reflections from winter research trips to Kenya, Thailand, and Pakistan. 
 
       Liu Yuanyuan, Johnson Liu, and Taylor Loeb will discuss their firsthand experiences meeting with businesses large and small in three critical and distinct BRI regions. The fellows will outline business environment opportunity and risk as described by founders and executives on-the-ground in Kenya, Thailand, and Pakistan. 
 
The panel will be moderated by Tsinghua-SAIS fellow Amanda Hua and feature remarks from Carnegie-Tsinghua scholar and Tsinghua-SAIS program leader, Tang Xiaoyang.
 
       All interested in hearing an alternative take on the BRI are encouraged to attend.
