Gibson Haynes – NexGen Global Forum

​Gibson Haynes is a resident contributor at the NexGen Global Forum and a member of the Editorial team, where his publications focus on China-Southeast Asia relations and current events. He is also an intern at the Carnegie Tsinghua Center for Global Policy in both the Communications and Operations departments. 
 
A member of the inaugural cohort of the Tsinghua-SAIS Dual Masters Program, he holds a BA in Linguistics and East Asian Studies from the College of William and Mary. His research interests include Southeast Asian political culture, China’s involvement in Southeast Asian development, and ASEAN and other regional multilateral institutions.
