Huang Xiaojia – NexGen Global Forum

Xiaojia Huang is a graduate of Sun Yat-sen University with a Bachelor of Laws in International Politics, hails from Guangzhou, China. As an undergraduate, Xiaojia served as the Chief Director of the Foreign Affairs Department in the SYSU Student Union. She also volunteered in Sichuan province, raising money for local students who could not afford tuition. Xiaojia strives to engage internationally, having exchanged at the University of California, Berkeley in 2014 and serving as a Chinese delegate at the Korea-China-Japan Youth Forum in 2015. Xiaojia’s research interests include global energy security, public diplomacy, and Chinese foreign policy. After graduation, Xiaojia hopes to work in a role which will enable her to help enhance communication among world nations, either through public service or within an international organization.
