About Zhang Cheng

Cheng studied English Language and Literature in Xiamen University, China. As China’s National Scholarship recipient, and a University Outstanding Graduate, she was an exchange student in the City University of Hong Kong in 2015 majored in International Politics and Economics and Interpreting and Translating. With an aspiration to understand regional and global affairs, she was one of the youth representatives to the 2015 ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ABIS) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 
Cheng leads an environmental protection project in Enactus China. She also served as an assistant to the director of UNESCO-IIEP during the international symposium on higher education. She was an interpreter for Red Dot International Design Week and Boao Forum for Asia. 
Current research interests of Zhang Cheng include security issues, international environment and energy governance, as well as political psychology. She is also devoted to enhancing cross-cultural communication and building community towards deep human connection.
